A steadycam automatically stabilizes your camera, and therefore the video images, when you film and move at the same time. Vibrations and fluctuations are automatically compensated by advanced servo motors that together with the camera form a so-called gimbal. This technique is also widely used in camera drones. With a steadycam you can effortlessly create perfect cinematic videos without annoying shocks, vibrations and fluctuations that look professional. Please note, most steadycams cannot compensate for up and down movements. Rigs that can do this are usually very expensive, but with some practice you can also achieve professional results with cheaper steadycams.
